Yarice has been a leader in the social sector for over 20+ years in Puerto Rico and United States in areas such as: Social/Nonprofit Communications, Innovative Programming, Development, and Strategic Planning for Institutional Development. She has led special social projects for international organizations and corporations like: Ford Foundation, Walmart Foundation, AMGEN Foundation, ATT Corporation, among other social investors. During her role as Deputy Advisor to the First Lady of Puerto Rico, she led the establishment of the Governor’s Commission on Community Service and Volunteerism. This Commission secures an annual investment of over $2 million dollars in Puerto Rico to promote volunteerism since its establishment in 2010.
Since 2007 Ramón Bueno, a Climate Change & Development Specialist, has specialized in the modeling and analysis of the economics of climate change impacts and the challenges in equitably mitigating where/when possible and adapting and preparing for the unavoidable. He engages with groups in modeling, analysis and discussions that explore, connect and communicate these and their implications within an overall sustainability strategy.
Carlos Araque is an engineer with broad experience in technology transfer, product development, venture capital and innovation. He has worked with industry, academia, government and public and private investors in various countries to increase the internal capacity of cities to produce companies based on intellectual property. He currently lives and pursues this mission in Puerto Rico.
