Social, Environmental, Economic Resilience

We’re a global alliance committed to designing and rebuilding a resilient, sustainable Puerto Rico.

Together, we’re creating opportunities for Puerto Rico to recover and thrive through thoughtful design and strategic planning.

We’re donating our time and resources to raise global awareness about resilience, and to develop pilot programs aimed at protecting the island from future extreme weather events.

When most people think about resilience, they often think exclusively about climate change adaptation. While planning for climate change is indeed a critical part of resilience, it’s really only one-third of the bigger picture. True resilience takes into account social and economic concerns, too. We call it a S-E-E (“see”) approach: Social Resilience, Environmental Resilience, and Economic Resilience.
